Max B. Mellman is the Managing Partner and Founder of Hybridge Capital Management (HCM), diversified investment firm specializing in commercial real estate, healthcare, and technology. Under his leadership, HCM has become a trusted capital partner to seasoned operators nationwide, with a focus on bridging the equity gap in the lower middle market.

Recognized as an innovator in hospitality investment ,Mr. Mellman was named IHG’s Developer of the Year in 2025, a distinction that underscores his vision, execution, and market foresight. Since HCM’s inception ,he has amassed a portfolio of over 565 hotel keys and $175 million in assets under management, with more than $200 million in active development projects in the firm’s pipeline.

In addition to his investment leadership, Mr. Mellman is the Founder of Max Benjamin Partners, Inc. (MBP), a boutique real estate investment banking firm specializing in nationwide debt and equity placement across all major commercial real estate asset classes. His capital markets acumen and track record have positioned him among the top real estate intermediaries in the United States, having coordinated and executed more than$4.5 billion in debt and equity financings. These transactions span a broad range of property types, including hospitality, office, retail, multifamily, industrial, healthcare, ground-up construction, and complex capital stack solutions.

In April 2024, Mr. Mellman acquired StackSource Inc.,a leading technology-enabled CRE financing platform, where he currently serves as Interim CEO. In this role, he is driving strategic growth, platform innovation, and market expansion to solidify StackSource’s position as a national leader in tech-driven real estate capital markets.

Before founding HCM and MBP, Mr. Mellman held seniorand associate positions at The Souferian Group and California Commercial Investment, where he was directly involved in the acquisition, management,entitlement, and development of more than $500 million in commercial realestate.

Known for his uncompromising work ethic, competitivedrive, and investor-first approach, Mr. Mellman has built a reputation fordelivering results in complex and competitive markets. Mr. Mellman holds a Bachelor of Science in Planning,Policy, and Development with an emphasis in Real Estate Finance from theUniversity of Southern California (USC).
